Yellowstone National Park is a national park that is located mainly in the state of Wyoming that extends into Montana and Idaho. The park spans an area of 8,980 km² (3,468 miles²) and is known for its geysers, hot springs and caldera.
This national park is located on a plateau about 2,400 meter above sea level. The park is surrounded by many mountains, the highest point of the park is Eagle Peak at 3,462 meter and the lowest is Lynx Creek which is still 1,610 meter above sea level.
