
Ruby Falls is a 44 meter (145 feet) high underground waterfall that is located within Lookout Mountain near Rock City and Chattanooga, Tennessee in the United States. This National Historic Landmark is located in a large vertical shaft at the end of the main passageway of Ruby Falls Cave.
The falls which is open daily for visiting, is 341 meter (1,120 feet) underground and is fed by rainwater and natural springs. All the water collected on the the cave floor then continue flowing through the mountain untill it reaches the Tennessee River at the base of Lookout Mountain.
