Stilt Fishing is an old tradition still in practice in Galle around the towns of Habaraduwa and Ahangama, in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The fishermen spend hours sitting on a thin plank tied to the stilt, hoping to catch some fishes that they sell for about 2 cents each.
