The Sacred Valley of the Incas, also known as Urubamba Valley stretches 60 km between the cities of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Most often the Sacred Valley often misses out to the more famous site of Machu Picchu and just imagine the sacred valley is just below it.
The Incas liked the valley for many of the same reasons that we all do today, its natural beauty, geographical and climatic qualities. Along this Sacred Valley of the Incas there are ancient cities, agriculture and fortresses to visit which can be overlooked such as the Pisac Inca Ruin Complex, Sacsayhuamán and the Moray village.
