Amazonas

Chachapoyas also called the Warriors of the Clouds, were Andean people living in the cloud forests of the Amazonas region in Peru. Not much is known about their civilisation as they were conquered by the Incas before the arrival of the Spanish in the 16th century.

There are only few structural remains that represent these Warriors of the Clouds such as the Chachapoyas figures at Karijia which is perched on a cliff ledge, Kuelap Citadel among the misty mountain and the Funerary site at Revash.
