Macedonians have been celebrating the Vevčani Carnival for more than 1,400 years thats held in the Macedonian village of Vevčani, Southwestern Region of Macedonia. The carnival blends pagan and contemporary traditions, drawing huge crowds yearly. The entire village becomes a giant theater where every street is a different scene where people dress-up and become actors.
