Yamanashi

Mount Fuji is an icon of Japan that is widely admired for its beauty. It is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 m (12,388 feet), it is one of Japan's "Three Holy Mountains". The mountain is popular with visitors and tourists who hike up to admire the view from the peak.

The most popular period for people to hike up Mount Fuji is from 1st July to 27th August, while huts / rest areas and other facilities are operating.
