
Jallikattu is a bull taming sport that is part of the harvest festival (Thai Pongal). Using their bare hands, this ancient sport pits brave young men against the aggressive bull which is rather similar to Spanish bull fighting.
Held in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, the aim of the game is to hold on to the hump of the bull and suvive long enough to win cash and prizes. The harvest festival is held from January to July, every year in the villages of Tamil Nadu as a part of the village festival.
