Shaanxi

Mount Hua or Hua Shan is 100 km east of the city of Xi'an, near the city of Huayin in Shaanxi Province, China. This plankwalk is part of the original access route up to Mount Hua's north peak (1,613 meter).

This plankwalk route is 6km long which starts from Hua Shan village to the north peak. This route is considered to be dangerous even after having safety improvements over several years and fatalities. But thrill seekers and some tourist still hike this trail, despite having other ascent options like cable car ride and a safer hiking route which follows the cable car route.
