
The Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival (哈尔滨国际冰雪节) has been held annually since 1963. Every year, artists gather in the city of Harbin in the province of Heilongjiang, China to create their ice masterpieces. The festival officially starts from January 5th and lasts for a month.
For the ice and snow sculpture festival, over 140,000 cubic meter of ice and over 100 cubic meter of snow were used to create the over 2,000 ice sculptures and works of art.
